How to Set Up the Forum as a Mailing List

You might prefer to interact with the Forum as a mailing list.

To follow the mailing list:

  1. Sign up on the Forum.
  2. Go to your user preferences and activate Mailing list mode.

To create a new thread:

  1. Write to edward@discoursemail.com . The e-mail’s subject is the title of the thread; the e-mail’s body is the body of the thread. All text is formatted in Markdown.

To reply to an existing thread:

  1. Reply to the Forum’s notification e-mail for that thread. You can reply via e-mail, or you can visit the URL and reply via the Forum.
