Could somebody please indicate on the edwardlib website that Edward is not being maintained anymore, and that newcomers should look at TensorFlow Probability/Edward2 instead?
I was about to dive into learning Edward when an ImportError
ImportError: cannot import name ‘set_shapes_for_outputs’
drove me to do some web searches.
It was only after digging for a while that I discovered that Edward 2 was being incorporated into TensorFlow Probability, and that my error was likely due to Edward 1 lagging behind newer TF versions.
